1. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information or collect diagnostics and device telemetry automatically.

1.1 Information Collected Automatically

When you use SalaryIQ, certain data is collected automatically through integrated third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) and standard server protocols:

Log Data: In case of an error or crash in the App, we collect data and information on your device called Log Data. This includes your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, app configuration at the time of the error, the time and date of your use, and other diagnostic statistics.
Device Identifiers: We access your device’s advertising identifier to serve and measure advertisements.
Push Notification Tokens: To send you real-time updates, we generate and store a unique push notification token linked to your device.
Usage Statistics: We collect anonymous data about how you interact with the App, including screens visited, buttons clicked, duration of sessions, and generic geographic region.

1.2 Purchase and Subscription Information

SalaryIQ may offer optional premium subscriptions. We do NOT collect or store your payment details (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses).
Subscription & Purchase Validation: Subscription status and purchase validation are managed through the respective App Store backend (like Google Play Billing or Apple App Store). All financial transaction processing is handled securely by them.

1.3 Local Caching and Storage

The App stores certain configurations locally on your device’s internal memory using lightweight local databases:
Settings : This data remains strictly on your device and is not uploaded to our backend servers.

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

3. App Permissions Requested

To deliver the features of the App, we request the following system permissions on your mobile device:

Internet Access (INTERNET):Required to fetch real-time data and sync across devices.
Post Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS):Required to send you push notifications. You can toggle this permission off at any time in your device settings.
Ad ID Access (AD_ID):Used to request personalized ads via Google AdMob. You can restrict ad tracking in your device settings.

4. Google Play Data Safety & User Rights (Data Deletion)

We comply with Google Play’s Developer Policies regarding user control over personal data.

4.1 Data Deletion Requests

If you wish to request the deletion of any associated diagnostics, push notification tokens, or usage history, you can contact us. Upon receiving your request, we will process your request and delete or anonymize any data under our control where applicable.

4.2 Local Data Erasure

You can delete all locally cached preferences and settings at any time by:
1. Navigating to your mobile device’s Settings > Apps > SalaryIQ.
2. Selecting Storage and clicking Clear Data or Clear Cache.
3. Alternatively, uninstalling the App will completely erase all local data from your device’s internal memory.

Depending on your residency, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data under regulations such as the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

CCPA /CPRA (California Residents):You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal data for personalized advertising.
Managing Ad Choices:You can exercise your rights and opt out of personalized advertisements by configuring your mobile device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the event that we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our servers.

7. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the SalaryIQ Developer Team, its affiliates, or third-party service providers be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or the inability to use this App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. The use of this App is entirely at your own risk.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately upon being posted.
